The encounter between an international and a native variety results in a structured, wellbalanced wine which perfectly interprets the territory and the company’s philosophy. The fully ripened grapes are hand-harvested into crates. Blending follows separate vinification and ageing.

Lamelle was the first white wine produced by the estate. The metamorphic origin of the soil, rich in seashell fossils, allows it to express at its best all its complexity and acidity.

Chiaro di Bolle is Il Borro's proposal to all Metodo Classico lovers. A vibrant, easy-to-drink Blanc de Noir that perfectly fits into the experimentation journey on Sangiovese on which the cellar has since long embarked.

A wine which combines experience and winemaking research. Vinification off the skins of the best early-harvested Sangiovese grapes. The vineyard’s good exposure, major variations in day and night temperatures and slow ripening ensure freshness, good acidity and the right sugar content.

Selection of the best clusters of Sangiovese grapes, hand-harvested in crates and manually hung up to dry. After 3 months, the grapes are gently pressed, and the must obtained is decanted into oak and chestnut wood kegs, where it ferments and ages for at least 5 years.

Brunello Vigna Pinino is a cru obtained solely from the selection of the homonymous vineyard, nestled in the historical heart of the property. The wine has a deep, intense ruby red colour. Elegant and refined both in the nose and in the mouth, it features notes of red fruits such as cherries, black cherries, redcurrants and raspberries, that are enhanced and not drown out by the wood.

Pomace from Il Borro, the winery’s most prestigious wine, is distilled with the artisanal discontinuous cycle-stills method and manual cutting of heads and tails. 18 months in French oak barriques gives the grappa an elegant aroma and a velvety, persistent taste.
