An organic wine produced in a vineyard worked with draft horses, which marks another step towards sustainability. Thanks to the lower ground compression exerted by the hooves the soil is more oxingen-rich, hydrated, and rich in microorganisms. “Nitrito” means “neigh”, the sound of the horse that echoes in the countryside almost as a greeting, a companion to the workers in the vineyards.

The Estate’s flagship wine, embodying the complexity of our terroir and expressing its identity to the full. The fruit of meticulously selected grapes from hillside vineyards with optimal exposure and a medium-textured skeletal soil with a sandy-clayey matrix.

A Sangiovese that evokes the past and Tuscan winemaking culture. Vinification exclusively in Tuscan terracotta amphoras. Maceration on the skins for 12 months, during which interaction with terracotta and micro-oxygenation shapes it balance and minerality.

Pratomagno, with optimal exposure and major variations in day and night temperatures.

The encounter between an international and a native variety results in a structured, wellbalanced wine which perfectly interprets the territory and the company’s philosophy. The fully ripened grapes are hand-harvested into crates. Blending follows separate vinification and ageing.

A wine which embodies the essence of Tuscany, dedicated to the inhabitants of Il Borro and ideal for every occasion. Ageing in wood gives complexity to the wine. The resulting blend brings with it all the fruity, floral freshness of Sangiovese, and the strength and structure of Cabernet Sauvignon.
